Nagare Ippon - Onee-chan to Issho

I noticed that the author published his doujinshi under Kouchaya name (the circle's name, which literally means 'black tea shop/seller'. Speaking of shop... Ahh, summer comiket. Can't wait to eat some broth, I mean, see Udon-ya's new work). It's fixed now.

Well, sure didn't sound like Shazam!, but you get the idea. We won't be having any releases this week. I'm going to use the time to prepare for the finals and project presentations. I think I have a good chance to score a perfect grade this semester (once in a lifetime, haha), so I'm gonna focus on that. We apologize for the delay, and we'll try to make it up with another great releases next week. Until then!

Lunch - Keikou Filter

Fluorescence filter, a filter that is used to give more vibrant colors in photography. Similarly, life will feel more vibrant when you have someone to share the happiness with. That's it about the title. The story itself tells about a couple trying to cope with problems caused by the age gap between them.

Yet another fine work by Lunch. His other original works, like Shochu Kaika (Blooming in Midsummer) and Toriko Voice (The Girl with...um, Restrained Voice?) are the titles to look forward to if they ever get translated.

E-Musu Aki - Mononoke Acme ch 2

The second chapter of Mononoke Acme, Kapa Kapa (or maybe Kapakapa? Not sure what does it mean, anyway). Many thanks to QRR for requesting it, Geromichi and no-name for providing and cleaning the raws respectively, and Akano for proofreading the translation.

It's...interesting to see E-Musu Aki's representation of the Youkai, with the Nekomata looking like a cosplayer who wears cat paws mittens, and the Kappa being a clumsy girl with a noodle bowl on her head. This is definitely tolerable for people who have furries allergy, though I'm not impressed with the cumming-on-pants part (I know that it adds a bit of comedy later on, but still...). Well, at any rate, we hope you'll enjoy it! :)

After two weeks of going AWOL, here goes the start of our release train.



Harem stories have this kind of plot for most of the time: a well-off relative deceased, the main character got a ridiculous amount of inheritance, then went crazy with girls in his shiny new mansion. Though so far this story practically has nothing new to offer, it's still a worthy addition knowing the artist behind this work is the highly-talented artist, tosh.

A LITTLE UPDATE: Somebody filled me in about Doujin-Moe having translated the whole volume of Namanaka. So I guess there goes another wasted effort...

The 11th chapter from Mononoke Acme, Robo Otto (literally translates to: Robo-oops!). A young couple who lived an unhappy married life thanks to hubby's impotence, and then, accident happened and enter the mad scientist! Credits goes to Eromasuta for cleaning the raws, and to Akano for proofreading it.

Meanwhile, here's an update on other projects:

• Katsurai Yoshiaki's Hakurai Inka ch 1. Translation and editing at 70%, but there are tricky sentences which will took longer. 
• Taishow's Oshino-san'chi no Shinobu-chan Sono 2. Translation's 50% done, but I got lazy with translating the author's rants.
• Shini Nora's Namanaka. My apologies to H9Eleven for delaying it for too long. Will get started on it sometime this week.
• Jingai Makyou's Kanousei no Kemono. Translation and editing at 40%. A bit stalled. I'm still looking for more Gundam Unicorn references.
• Type.90's One Moe. The first 14 pages have been translated, but editing does look a bit hard. I'll try to finish it after we're done with some other requests.
• Kantamaki Yui's Hina Nin Bakunyuuden. I failed to find enough time and motivation to work on it. It's stalled at the moment.

A release and a question

An addendum chapter from Gunma's latest book, Sweethearts. Well, never knew that translating a Gunma's piece involves more logic than programming a pacman game with C++. Just ask Akano :P

Btw, would you know of a file hosting site that rarely fails you when you're uploading things?
Due to some circumstances, I'll have to make do with some crappy Internet connection for the next 3 (or could even be 9) months. With an upload speed averaged to 80 kbps (it's in bit, not byte), Mediafire seems to be an unlikely choice since it often makes me reuploading things 2-3 times even with a decent connection.

I need something to keep me fresh while working on other projects, so here's a short vanilla from Coelacanth. I was debating whether to do this or 48 Deadly Techniques, first, but in the end this story won over me simply because it feels so refreshing to read. Hopefully, that feeling isn't lost in the translation, so you can enjoy it as much as we did!

Yoshiron - Ontama Lovers

While we wait for Akano, let's have a look at Yoshiron's debut work (dunno if it means his debut as a H-artist, or his debut on Comic Kairakuten). It's very short, it's cliché and there are this outrageous censorship everywhere (as expected of Comic Kairakuten), but vanilla can never go bad, can it now?

We left the title untranslated because it was confusing. Ontama consists of two kanji, one is "on" from "onsen" which means "warm", and "tama" which means "ball/sphere". Combine those two and you get...err... Well, let's just leave it like that :P

By the way, recently I was quite taken with some of TNC. a.k.a Lunch's works, like Toriko Voice and Shochu Kaika. Maybe we'll do them in the future.

Kouchaya - TELL ME

Phew, what a release this was. We're having some problem with Hakurai Inka, so we thought we'd pick up another story which is easy to translate and edit, but how wrong we were. I lost count how many times we need to rephrase some sentences to make them look a bit better. My trusty font also looked awful in this one, so we changed it. Yet in the end, both Akano and I weren't quite satisfied with the result...

Well, while we wish that we could've done some things better, we hope you enjoy reading this rather sick story about a weird perverted girl and her jerkish, possessive cousin :P

News & Revisions

Doujin Moe have decided to scanlate the whole book of Inbi Temptation, so I think we won't work on it anymore, EXCEPT for a chapter titled Himitsu no Shiryoushitsu (The Secret Reference Room). Well, actually that's the only chapter left from the book that piqued my interest, so we're all happy. Thanks to FUKE for noticing me.

Aaaand, at last we decided to fix the very first releases which I had no proofreader to check my grammars at the time.

The revised version contains:

This is a K-ON! doujin from C79. The artist nickname, Leaf Party, is another pen name for Nagare Ippon. Not much to see here, except some loli school girls getting gangbanged and mind broken. Typical of Nagare Ippon's works.

This was my first time translating a H-doujin, moreover, going solo.
Even though I've been around for some times in scanlation business, it seems my English hasn't improve much, so do forgive my grammatical mistakes.
